Imagine investing the time to be able to give high impact presentations. The sort of investment which may take a month (for some) or a year (for many others) but with the type of voracity which I see being sweated out on the driving range every week by people who will never hope to hit the pro golf circuit but who hack away at the astro turf like real contenders.
Barack Obama gave a seventeen minute speech at the 2004 Democratic National Convention which catapulted him to running for the White House a little over three years later. I’m not pretending the guy hasn’t done anything else but imagine this potential energy channeled into presenting your company. Or your product. Or yourself.
The sky is the limit.
Heads up to the ever enthousiastic Tom Peters.
